We went to a local carnival a few days ago here in Longview. The weather was just perfect!! We took the kids right after school before it got too crowded. Tim rode a few rides with Aly & Nick. I rode one ride with Nick two times, I forgot how they make you feel...boy I was so dizzy and nauseated afterwards!! It's hard being "29" ha!! I think I embarrassed Nick from laughing so hard! We had a great time. I love my family they are my world!!!

The kids are selling Candy for their school Longview Christian Academy! They each have their own selling style and is so great to watch them sell!  With such good looks who could resist them?!We sat outside of Sam's and sold for about 4 hours they rotated in and out standing in front of the exit of the store...we sold 5 cases this past Thursday!!! Yeah! now only how many more to go? ha! I love being with my kids and family!!! I am so blessed!

Well what a Revival we had last week at our church!! We had singing, preaching more singing and more preaching!!! Evangelist Rob Hicks and his family were with us this past week for our Homecoming Revival! This is Aly and R.G. in the auditorium the Friday before it began. My sister-in-law Kelly decorated the auditorium and did a fabulous job!!  Here are some pictures of Alyson with her friends...so many decisions were made for Christ... I was down at the altar dealing with a young lady and didn't realize Alyson was at the other side making a decision to do what God wants her to do with her life!!! To God be the glory!!! I could barely contain myself!! I want to thank my husband Tim for being such a strong leader for our family and our Pastor for giving us so many opportunities to serve our Lord.

After getting all 4 wisdom teeth cut out in the summer, Nick finally got his braces on today! Who  would have thought one mouth could cost so much money!! If having all that in his mouth wasn't enough, they told him "well you get them off in 2013! He about fell over, but I told him just imagine how great you are going to look. (that didn't help) He just wants them off before his Senior year so we will make it! Nick is such a great son (hey a mother can brag sometimes!) I wanted to share this other photo of Nick, I came out from getting ready for school and found Nick at the table reading his Bible! Wow, not a perfect kid by a long shot, but it did my heart good to see him taking time with the Lord.

Fall Weather is here...(I think!)

My Favorite time of the year!!!

Well the weather seems to have changed for the better here in East Texas!! The mornings have been so nice and cool and the days pleasant!!! The Forgy Family is doing great! We are all so busy with work and school. Nick and Aly love their church and school and are involved in every area they can! Tim & I have been so pleased with their grades...let's hope it will continue (Please God!) Tim is busy teaching in T.B.C. and L.C.A. and working with the teens, he loves every minute of it!! I am enjoying working in the schools as well!! God sure has been good to us!!! God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!!!!

LBA

This is Jalisa, Deborah  and I from LBA.We went outside for a quick game of kickball...well not me with my foot, but I had a great time cheering them on! Pastor drove by and the ball accidently hit his car..oops!!! So sorry about that!  I am so thankful for a Christian school for these young people to attend!

School is off and running!

School is going great this year! I am running between our two Christian Scools Longview Christian Academy and Longview Baptist Academy! I work a few hours each day between the two! I work in the office at L.C.A. and work in the Learning Center at L.B.A.  I sure do love working with all the young people and teenagers! Meagan and Jordan along with Nick and Aly stopped in to see me after school or maybe it was  for the candy on my desk, who cares I was just glad they stopped in! Praise the Lord for family!!

Scott, Jenny and the boys are in for the week!!

This week my brother Scott and his family are in traveling through the area for Hyles-Anderson College. They have the tour guys with them and one of them is my nephew Joe Simmons. We are having a blast!!! Nick, Aly, Phillip, Jordan, R.G. and Steven are at camp this week! Hope they all come back alive!!

Nick, Aly,Meagan and Jordan worked hard today for their Pa & MawMaw Gray! Cleaning out closets, bookshelves, sweeping, dusting, organizing and even assembling bookcases! They worked very hard, by the way so did Kim and I...where is our pay??? We are so blessed to have such a great family!!!!

Wednesday Night Soul Winning

I had the great honor and pleasure of going soul winning with my brother Bob last night who is also my Pastor!! We had 2 souls come to Christ ...here is a picture of the young man getting saved! What a great example and encouragement my brother is to me!!!

Teen Convetion 2010

We had a great Teen Convetion this year! The theme was "Keep thyself Pure" Praise the Lord for our church and leaders who care about young people and the path they choose in life. Our Nephews Graduation

Last Wednesday Night our nephew Gary James Forgy graduated from High School. We are so proud of his accomplishment!! Please keep Gary James in your prayers as he goes off to the Marines in January. We love him very much and were so proud to see him graduate!! Our other nephew Seth (Denise's son) graduated from K-5! Boy he has a long ways to go! We love them both!!!

R.G.'s B-Day

We played baseball at the park for R.G.'s party and yes we all batted!! (thank goodness Bob gave us about 10 strikes each ha!) We had a great time, I love being with my family!!
